Calgary Marathon - May30

DESCRIPTION: Calgary Marathon (Formerly the Stampede Run-Off) - Sunday May 30, 200 - We will be providing the volunteers to work at one of the water stations. We have done a variety of tasks with this event during the years we have participated, but by far the most enjoyable for most of us was working at a water station. And that is what we will be doing this year!

This is the 10k water station, we will see approx 2000 runners in a very short space of time. So after we set up, it is fast and furious work, and then we take down afterwards - and then go for breakfast. I hope you can join us!

DUTIES: We will be providing the volunteers to work at one of the water stations

DATE: Sunday May 30, 2010

TIME: 7 am - 9 am (after tear-down)

LOCATION: Central NW (exact address, along with parking instructions and any other necessary info will be provided in the confirmation email. Confirmations will be sent out after the deadline date, and after the event is processed.) 

PEOPLE NEEDED: 20

Waiver Form: Each volunteer must sign a waiver form - this will be done the morning of the event.

SOCIAL EVENT: Afterwards, if the weather looks like it is going to be nice on Sunday, we should plan on a downtown patio for breakfast. Anything suggestions - we need a place that can handle a group on Sunday. (put any suggestions in the comment field on the sign-up form)
