On July 14, when the Harry Potter book was scheduled to be released for sale at midnight, the Harry Potter Fest was in full swing in Peninsula starting at 6:00 P.M. And the Single Volunteers were there to help.  Stationed throughout the town, our responsibilities included taking tickets for lectures, helping the visitors using the shuttle services unload and load safely, and ensuring all volunteers gained entry to the parking lot reserved for them.

The most important responsibility?  Making sure no one bothered the "Harry Potties."  Towards the end of the evening that was definitely a popular spot with visitors!
